End of STUDent life??

Its already been 555days (799200 minutes) since I bid adieu to a comfortable life at L&T and decided that I wanted to do an MBA afterall...

And what a topsy-turvy ride it has been.

Want to take this opportunity to list down a few things that I think I have learnt...

  1. Its impossible to read more than 1 chapter of Kotler in a day...in fact I dont think I have read more than 3-4 of them...
  2. The second thing I learnt is ORIGINALITY DOES'NT PAY.. Seen it so many times... We have people blatantly copying stuff but scoring a lot more than others who put in effort and come out with an original project.
  3. Rephrasing Point 2. IT DOESN'T matter what you know, what matters is, what does the person on the other side of the table think. If you are able to convince him...You have won the round.
  4. Have learnt that fights are not only physical, verbal but happen a lot over e-mail too :)
  5. Only FINANCE majors learn stuff in da 2 yrs of their post grad life...Others watch movies, sleep n as we say in IMT - indulge in a lot of BHASAD
Planning to spend the last 30-40 days as a student exploring N India... Have already visited Haridwar-Rishikesh, Lansdowne (a quaint, sleepy n an extremely beautiful hillstation located in Uttaranchal), Dilli-6.

TOM places that I surely want to visit before I say good-bye to IMT are - Jammu n Kashmir, Rajasthan, Amritsar (PUNjab) n if possible Dalhousie...

Alvida Shabba Khair....

TOM by the way is Top of Mind...one of the few jargons that I have picked up in the last 79 weeks.

Just realised that this has been a completely random post...

At Long Last.....

Blogging - Is one idea, which has taken a long long time to fructify

Writing a blog has been a part of my new year resolutions for the past 5-6 years

Closing this post with the hope that this experience will be similar to that of the Tortoise in the famous Tortoise-Rabbit story

Ciao for Now....
